Visit to war base and park - Nov 22, 2014

Today, staff from the college took myself and Chris (my friend and long-term college volunteer) to Xeo Quyt, southeast of Cao Lanh. It is situated in a vast swamp with a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, one of the last remaining natural forests in the Mekong Delta.
Xeo Quyt is the name of a base where top Vietnamese army officials lived in underground bunkers during the American-Vietnam war.
